Haichang Super long Constant Current LED Strips are specially designed for users who intend to drive 10m, 15m, 20m, 30m meters (100ft) up to 100 meters super long distance strips by only one driver at one end while have accurate color and brightness at each part of the strips. Through integrated IC chips on board, the electric current on each LED is rated to exactly same value. This technology enables exactly same light output at every part of the led strips, despite of possible voltage drops at the installation site.
For normal constant voltage led strip like Dc12v or Dc24v, there will be more or less voltage drop at both ends of the strips. To solve this issue, usually we recommend clients to wire the driver to both ends of the driver and collect the led strips in parallel, or use 24v instead of 12v strips to decrease the voltage drop. By this solution, the connection length for each circuit should not exceed 10m for 24v or 5m for 12 volt.
By using Constant Current LED light Strips, one driver (power supply) can drive one unit of LED strip with continuous lengths of 10m, 15m, 20m, 30m or even 100m. Compared to constant voltage led strip, there will be no issue of voltage drop, less degradation on LED, less drivers, less wiring, easier and faster installation and longer lifetime.
